Fundraising Party

After days of baking cakes and scones and preparation, the day came for the party to raise funds for our VSO placement in Rwanda. Despite the cold, there was a very good turnout with almost 40 friends and family joining in the fun. We started off with an afternoon tea followed by cheese and wine with a wine quiz. We're pleaed to announce that we raised enough to reach our target of £1000 when added to the money already raised and the GIft Aid.

In the picture, Hannah (Volunteer with us in Guyana) and Wayne (her husband) join us in the wine quiz in the evening. A big thankyou to everyone who was involved and especiually to those who made a donation!
